The hotel offers a Ducklings Dinner a special family dining experience in Leftbank between 1800 and 2000 hours (last sitting 1930 hours for our special Duckling dinner prices). There is lots to choose from with dishes created especially with children in mind including simple salads, tapas style items, rotisserie chicken, soup , our daily pasta dish, a Leftbank burger – choose your own toppings from a selection in the theatre kitchen area or become a pizza chef with your children devising their own pizza and we will be able to cook it in our pizza oven for you. There is so much to choose from and all in a relaxed and family friendly setting overlooking the Thames. The price is just £24 per adult (Sunday to Friday) and £29.00 per adult on Sunday evenings and £10 for children under 12 excluding tea & coffee these children’s prices are for reservations between these hours only To make a booking please contact our restaurant reservations team on 01784 220999. This is available every Friday and Saturday evening and every evening during school holidays. It will also be available on Sunday evenings during bank holiday weekends.

In the Leftbank restaurant which is family friendly you can dine and unwind beside the river. Enjoy seasonal and fresh dishes prepared by people who love food. The Thames and riverbank trees are right in front of you, enjoy uninterrupted dramatic views with scrumptious food and drinks on tap. There’s really nothing like this for miles around. You do need to make a reservation for dining in Leftbank prior to arrival with the hotel directly on 01784 220999. If you are celebrating a special occasion you let the hotel know in advance. Leftbank Opening Times: Breakfast: Monday to Friday 6:45 - 10:00, Saturday & Sunday and Bank Holiday 7:45 - 10:30 Lunch: Open Mon-Saturday 12:30 - 14:15. Sunday lunch 1230-1515. Dinner: Monday toThursday and Sunday1830-2200, Friday and Saturday 19:30 - 22:00. Dinner: Monday to Friday 19:00 - 22:00, Saturday 1930-2230. Closed Sunday evening.
The Lock
Located right beside its old namesake, the Bell Weir Lock on the River Thames, the new Lock restaurant offers riverside dining at its finest. With waiter service and a discreet atmosphere, it’s perfect for couples and small parties, giving you a stunning alternative to our leftbank restaurant. Picture a light and breezy bistro-style atmosphere with a French influence and The Lock starts to take shape… from top to toe it will be kitted out with stunning Tom Kirk chandeliers, tweed, leather and wooden herringbone flooring. In warm weather, the floor to ceiling doors lead outside for gorgeous al fresco dining on the riverside. The food concept is even more exciting with a choice of fixed price menu or a la carte menu, reflecting the seasons. Wherever possible, the food is ethically sourced, sustainable, locally produced and with organic influences. The style of cooking is simple with bold flavours… succulent dishes from a Josper Charcoal Oven… freshly grilled this and that… mouth-watering platters for sharing and much more. Accompanying the rustic overtones, the extensive wine menu features an accent on French wines. And the bar? It will be the perfect spot for an aperitif or cocktails! Leisure Facilites
Comprehensive luxury leisure facilities are provided at the runnymede~on~thames. Take a dip in the magnificent 18m pool or relax in the sauna, steam room or whirlpool bath. A fully staffed, modern gym is available with trained fitness consultants on hand should you require help. The spa's studio offers a range of classes suitable for all levels of fitness. The relaxing garden room located in the spa makes for a glorious place to unwind after a workout. Children are well catered for with giant garden games as well as a variety of books, LEGO® bricks and board games. Children are welcome in our spa between 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon and 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Monday to Sunday inclusive. All Children aged 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times (1 adult to 3 children).
Our outdoor pool and toddlers splash area is open to residents until 5th September 2010. (Monday to Friday 10.30am – 6.30pm, Saturday and Sunday: 10: 00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m). From 6.9.10-26.9.10 it will be open on Saturday and Sunday only between 10.00 a.m. and 2.00 p.m. The outdoor pool will be closed for this season from 27th September 2010.
Our outdoor pool and toddlers splash area is open to residents until mid September (Monday to Friday 10.30am – 6.30pm, Saturday and Sunday: 10: 00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m). The last entry will be half an hour before closing. The hotel reserves the right to close the pool at anytime without prior notice. Please note that the outdoor pool is a constant depth of 1.4m (4.6ft) so children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. The children’s playground area is open from 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. unless the weather is inclement.
River Thames Boat Hire
Sail off from the private mooring at the hotel. Enjoy a lazy time cruising down the rippling River Thames in one of our exclusive riverboats. It’s very laid back yet thrilling and great fun... sail past weeping willows, riverside houses and boats and cruisers lining the riverbanks… take turns to steer - and remember to ‘drive’ on the right… stop off for a pint in the riverside pubs… admire the oarsmen and women as they row past you… navigate locks… tuck into a tasty picnic prepared especially for you.
Go upstream for the day and you’ll see Windsor Castle towering above you. Downstream, you’ll pass through Staines and Laleham where there are plenty of pretty pubs with moorings, where you can stop for a pint or glass of wine.
It’s a beautiful way to spend time together during your stay at our Thames river hotel. Both of our boats take up to 6 passengers - with room for a giant picnic basket too! And because they're powered by an electric motor, it’s wonderfully peaceful. From just 35.00 an hour during the week and from 45.00 an hour at weekends and on bank holidays.
